I couldn’t wait to marry Alicia. She always has a smile on her face, which is one of my favorite things about her. She is incredibly kind, loving and nurturing which are the qualities that not only made me fall in love with her, but qualities that will make her a wonderful mother, as well. She does a little bookkeeping and accounting from home, but her dream is to be a stay-at-home mom and raise our family. I truly believe this is her life’s purpose, as she’s at her best when caring for others. She enjoys crafts, baking, tennis and decorating our home, and gives her all to every single thing she does. She wants nothing more than to be a mother and I can’t wait until that day comes. -David

I fell in love with David because he is the most patient and caring person I’ve ever known. His commitment and dedication shines through in all that he does – whether that’s at work as a design engineer or at home with his family. He is my rock and I’m constantly in awe of his fierce positivity and optimism through any situation. He loves sports, music, home projects and spending time with those he cares about, and I know he’s looking forward to sharing these passions with his child. He’s going to be the type of dad who’s involved and excited about homework, activities, planning family vacations, or whatever our child is passionate about themselves. We met and fell in love in college when we were just 19 years old. We got married at 23 and just celebrated our 12 year anniversary. (That makes us 35 if you’re counting!) Early in our marriage, we ventured out and lived in Florida, North Carolina and San Diego for David’s career, but eventually moved back home to Michigan. We feel there’s nothing more important than friends and family and didn’t want to raise our child away from our support system. We own a three-bedroom home on an acre in a quaint, rural suburb and can’t wait to fill it with our child’s laughter and family memories. Oh, and we can’t forget about our cat, Reynolds! We named him after Burt Reynolds since he has this funny little mustache. :) He’s our fur baby and more spoiled than you could ever imagine!
